Molly O’Sullivan is a freshman from Boise, Idaho. She’s in MC 23 and is double majoring in international affairs and statistics. Upon graduation she plans to attend law school so that she can become an immigration or human rights attorney.
Just this year Molly started participating in Model United Nations so that she could practice her debating and public speaking skills. In February she attended her first Model UN conference, SUNMUN which was hosted by the University of Florida. She was assigned to one of the specialized committees, Sorority Struggles: Mu Upsilon Nu.
After a few days of debating and giving speeches, she won best delegate of her committee and was awarded a gavel. “I love Model UN because it has allowed me to practice my advocacy and public speaking skills in ways that I know will help me in law school and eventually in my career,” said Molly. The Florida State University Model UN team won best large delegate school overall at the conference.
Congratulations Molly! We are so proud of you and can’t wait to see what you accomplish next!
