Florida State University's Homecoming Parade on November 22, 2024, was a spirited celebration of Seminole pride and community. Among the colorful lineup, Gamma Phi Beta stood out with a vibrant float that showcased creativity and enthusiasm. Teaming up with Her Campus and Lambda Theta Phi, we brought energy, charm, and unity to the parade, earning cheers from the crowd lining the streets of Tallahassee.
The float featured a dynamic design that incorporated everyone's signature colors alongside creative elements inspired by each group's unique identity. Members of Gamma Phi Beta, Her Campus, and Lambda Theta Phi waved enthusiastically from the float, embodying the true spirit of Homecoming. This partnership highlighted the diverse talents and strengths of each group while fostering connections within the FSU community. Their collective effort made the parade a memorable experience and contributed to the vibrant traditions of Florida State University.
Additionally, many of our sisters participated in the Homecoming Parade with their other organizations! For example, we saw Tori Reese with the Consultant Group, and Elise Faith and Laurent Rattray with Dance Marathon, just to name a few.
We want to give a special thanks to Liisi Schnippert, our Homecoming chair, as well as the delegates from Lambda Theta Phi and Her Campus, for making this collaboration such a success!
